This way, you might feel you are already on holiday in Italy. Many recipes taste better when they are prepared slowly and with care. And if you have the time, start with sketching the ingredients before you begin to cook.

Biografie

Dorine van der Vloodt, M.A. (Art History), has been drawing and painting since childhood. After spending her early years in Canary Islands, Nigeria and Kenya, and with family roots in Indonesia, she developed a strong sense of culture, nature, design and different cuisines. In her first hand-drawn cookbook, Sketch-Book Cook (2015) she combined watercolor with fineliner. With Creative Cooking for Italy Lovers, she now blends her love of food, Italy, nature and visual creativity into an inspiring culinary journey. The so called Dutch gezelligheid (cosiness) in the kitchen is recognizable in her drawings. Edited by Maureen van Eijk.
