Milan-based writer Laura May Todd takes readers on an intimate tour of these inspiring domestic spaces, including residences by some of the region’s best-known and beloved architects and designers of all time, such as Carlo Scarpa, Alessandro Mendini, and Luca Guadagnino.

Laura May Todd is a freelance writer and Milan editor of Wallpaper* Magazine. She also writes for T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Elle Décor, Wallpaper* and Architectural Digest, and has contributed to magazines such as World of Interiors, Domus and Cereal. Her first book, How To Get Away: The Design of Retreat was released in 2021.
