This poetry book is a chaotic mix of my life experiences. It is about grief, eating disorders, abuse, depression, addiction. About the depths of breaking, struggles of healing and the beauty of living. I hope that the words that are written down on these pages give you whatever you need. Whether it is courage to let someone in when you are breaking inside, the strength to take another step in your healing journey or to have a reminder of why it is a gift to be living. They are here. For all of it. For all of you. and i hope you will see that the healing is far greater than the breaking.

Biografie

Hesther Schreur (1999) has loved writing ever since she was child and soon discovered that she was better at giving her emotions and thoughts a voice on paper. She developed an eating disorder around the age of thirteen which sadly was just the beginning of years of struggling. Knowing that she rather wrote than spoke turned out to be a helpful tool in her therapy. Therapists understood her better which led to better progress. Her hope for you is that you also find your better voice. Whatever it is and however it speaks.
