Jean-Baptiste moves through a world of desire, decadence, and spiritual shadows, where Milan is only one of the figures who attract, challenge, and unsettle him. Vampires do not appear as monsters, but as aristocratic archetypes of longing, beauty, and eternal hunger, mirrors of what people secretly acknowledge yet rarely dare to name.
