Biografie

Mariëtte Nieling (29 August 2009) has loved writing since she was a little girl. When puberty hit, she was confronted with a whole new range of feelings. During that time, she struggled to talk about them, partly because she had always found it difficult to express and understand feelings. Then, one day, she poured everything onto paper and wrote a poem. From that day on, writing became both her passion and a way to say the words her mouth couldn't. At first, sharing her poems felt wrong, but after discovering how they resonated with others, her confidence grew. Besides putting her thoughts and feelings into poetry, she hopes to show people that they are not alone.
