Ilka van Vianen is a 19-year-old writer at the beginning of her life’s journey. She discovered her love for writing around the age of 14 when school assignments became a way to express her thoughts creatively. Since then, she has captured everything that moves her, from conversations with strangers and social media glimpses to moments of uncertainty and appreciation for those around her. Her work reflects the vulnerability of youth and the overflowing emotions that shape identity. Through her poetry, Ilka invites readers to experience the flood in her head and the overflowing world it reveals.
