His impressive client list includes Saks Fifth Avenue, 'Vogue', 'ELLE' and many other magazines. His style of bright colours, minimal lines, silhouetted female forms and clear-cut divisions of surface is readily recognisable. In this intimate monograph, author Hanka van der Voet traces how his technique has evolved over the years and pinpoints his influences, following in the tradition of other seminal Dutch illustrators like Dick Bruna and Fiep Westendorp.
