This book provides you Mandarin Chinese learning course study materials, specially designed for the intermediate level (HSK Level 5) students of Mandarin Chinese. The book includes numerous lessons for reading and learning Chinese ghost stories (¿¿¿¿), originally created by the renowned novelist Pu Songling (¿¿¿, 1640-1715) from the Qing Dynasty (¿¿, 1636 -1912). The lessons include multiple Chinese stories composed of simplified Chinese characters, words, sentences, etc. The book is suitable for self-learning Mandarin Chinese. Plenty of vocabulary with English and Pinyin has been provided throughout the book. Some chapters are purposely too simple, some a bit difficult. However, all chapters are suitable for the Level 5 students. Even if you are an advanced level student of Mandarin Chinese, you should give a try to this book and test your Mandarin abilities.
